I've been craving to read more books after I took too long of an extended break from recreational reading. So, I decided what better way to get out of that rut than by scrolling through GoodReads and see what books are out there! The summaries of these piqued my interest and now, my wallet is about to shelter flies in its crevices after I splurge and try to get most of these books. But, it'll be a worthy sacrifice if the books hopefully live up to my expectations (very high expectations for Valente, Bray, and Cooper's books). At least the end of my hiatus is a well scheduled. I mean, what better time than fall to cozy up in bed and shed tears for absolutely flawed, yet wonderful characters during the Thanksgiving break? I still haven't decided whether I should pair these books with nice hot chocolate or with a cup of my salty tears because I know a few will be shed--perhaps because of the books but more likely than not, because of the several research papers that I will be putting off while I read.
